Every audio component sold on Instant Classic is entitled to a 50-day trial. It only excludes cleaning products and spare parts as these can't realistically be resold as seconds by us.

If you get your order set up - say a turntable, amplifier or speaker - and for some reason want to return it, we'll take it back within 50 days of you receiving it. Even if it's opened and used.

Yep, 50 days. Yep, even if you've opened it and used it.

Why? Because we've got faith in our products. And if you don't enjoy your purchase as much as we hope you will, there's no reason for you to be stuck with it. We want you to be happy and shop with us again one day.

Why 50 days? Because we want you to genuinely try our products in the situation you'll be familiar with every day. Most sites don't offer such a friendly return policy - there's usually always the clause 'must be returned in brand new condition'. Not with us!

If you're not totally happy with your purchase, just contact us and request a return. We'll send you a barcode that the post office will scan, and you don't need to pay anything. Just take the products in. Once received, we'll then inspect and clean it and resell it as a refurb.

All you need to do is make sure you keep all of the original packaging the item arrived in, and that the product is in good working order. It doesn't even need to be in brand new condition.

Once we receive it, a full refund will be processed via your original payment method within 3 business days.

We do free, registered, insured shipping Australia-wide on all orders of $100 and over. Any orders below that are charged $7. That's still below our actual cost of freight, but helps us cover what we need to.

Delivery times are typically 2-3 working days.

This is for metro areas, even during COVID-19, but excludes WA. Expect WA and regional areas to take up to a few days' extra.

We send all in-stock items out from our Melbourne warehouse either the same or next working day so your order gets to you as fast as possible. You'll automatically receive a tracking link so you can check on progress.

For Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Perth customers, we offer a Click & Collect service with partner record stores for selected products.

This option will be shown during check-out where available. Typically we limit it to turntable orders only as full systems are often too big for the record stores to hold.

The order will be delivered to your chosen store where you'll be able to pick it up at your convenience. It doesn't cost any extra and can be a great way to get to know your nearby vinyl purveyor.

Just keep in mind that once your order is placed, we still need to send it to the nominated record store, so you'll be waiting the same amount of time as if you got it delivered directly to your house.
